Funeral services for Bruce Lamar “Lightning” Lightfoot, Sr., 80, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Berry Cemetery. He was a truck driver for several years and a Heavy Equipment Operator for Southland Papermill for more than 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching westerns. He took pleasure in drinking his coffee and he could fix anything. Mr. Lightfoot was of the Church of Christ faith. He was preceded in death by his parents: and brothers, Leo, Joe, and O’Neal Lightfoot. His family includes: wife of 55 years, Rosemary; son, Bruce Lamar Lightfoot, Jr.; daughters, Roseanne Arriola and husband Jeff, Linda Lovett and husband Lynn; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ellen Lightfoot and Nelda Lightfoot; special friends, Carl and Sharon Fuller; numerous nieces, nephews ----------- Data edited - a full obituary may be obtained from Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors - Oct 13, 2018.
