ANDOVER-Miller, Anna Marie (Tajchman) passed away on August 4, 2016, after suffering a fall at home. She was born on July 26, 1931 near Tampa, KS. She taught school for 10 years in rural Marion County as well as in Wichita and Andover. She married Gene Miller on August 18, 1952 in Pilsen, KS. They had two children, Joe Miller of Iola and Susan Farris of Andover. Anna Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed polka dancing and ceramics. She volunteered as organist, choir director and as the coordinator of CCD. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rose Tajchman, and her sister, Irene Tajchman. She is survived by her husband, Gene of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cheryl Miller; daughter, Susan Farris; five grandchildren, Megan Cole, Mandy Roe, Melissa Kent, Tiffany Meairs and Levi Farris; two great-grandchildren, Jazzlynn and Sajon Cole; and her brothers, Joe Tajchman and Ed Tajchman and their families. The Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2016; The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016, both at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
