Bio
Born Rose Oborny, Dec 20, 1906 at Heun, Ne., she was the daughter of Joseph and Veronica (Tuma) Oborny. the family moved to Marion County when Rose was a baby, living in the Durham community. She attended rural school and was raised on the family far. She married Joseph G. Tajchman April 29, 1930 at St. John Nep. Catholic Church in Pilsen. The couple had four children. She was a homemaker, mother rand farm wife who also enjoyed working with crafts. A member of St. Anne's Altar Society and Holy Family Parish. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Joseph; four brothers, Frank, John, Joe & Emil; and by four sisters, Toni Huna, Josie Tajchman, Mary Holub and Lottie Baxa. Survivors include two sons, Edwin of Garland, Texas and Joe of Lincolnville; two daughters, Anna Marie Miller of Andover and Irene Tajchman of Pilsen; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She died in Hillsboro, KS.
