Cecil Raymond Scobee was born Feb 20, 1920, in Missouri to parents Charles Dewey Scobee(1899-1979) and Roxie Emma Bell (1900-1967), both born in Missouri. Cecil's known brothers and sisters: Daisy I. (1918-1995) Crystal Pauline (1924-1985) Goldie Frances (1921-1995) Earl E. (1928-1986) Wilma J. (1931-1992) Mary E. (ca 1933--) On July 20, 1946, Cecil married Peggy Mae (1927-1990). They had a daughter Linda Kay (1947-2013). Cecil and Peggy are both buried in Elmira Cemetery.
