Bio
Earl E. Scobee was born Jun 10, 1928 in Missouri, to parents Charles Dewey Scobee(1899-1979) and Roxie Emma Bell (1900-1967), both born in Missouri. Earl was the fifth child in a family of 7 children, plus an adopted child. Earl's known brothers and sisters: Daisy Irene Scobee-Bolton (1918-1995) Cecil Raymond Scobee (1920-1987) Goldie Frances Scobee-Heavelow (1921-1995) Crystal Pauline Scobere-Wyant (1924-1985) Wilma Juanita Scobee-Novak (1931-1992) Mary E. Scobee-Pritchard (ca 1933--) Earl's parents also raised a grandchild, Donna Scobee-Jackson. She died in 2024. Earl enlisted in World War II and while in Germany he married Friedericke Wilhelmine "Frieda" Klimke (1930-1994). She was the daughter of Peter J. Klimke and Ida Weber. Earl's first daughter was born in Germany. Their second and third daughter plus a son were born after they returned to the United States. Both Earl and Frieda are buried in Elmira Cemetery.
