DEATH OF MR. LUCIUS PARKER. Lucius Parker died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Parker near Bryan on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. He came home ill Wednesday from Navasota, where he was employed with force of men erecting steel tanks for the railroad company. Notwithstanding everything possible was done to stay the hand of death, all efforts were unavailing, and before the family and friends could well realize, they stood suddenly bereft of this loved one. The funeral was held from the family home at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Internment at Red Hill cemetery, Rev. J. R. Turrentine of this city conducted the service.
