MRS. ELLA RAWLS. Died Very Suddenly—Was Preparing For the Dinner Meal. Mrs. Ella Rawls, wife of Mr. Jno. Rawls of Galveston and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Parker of the Thompson creek community, died yesterday morning while preparing to put on dinner. She has been here on a visit to her parents for several weeks and during this time has been very ill at one time but was apparently well yesterday when death suddenly claimed her. Mrs. Pawls was in the kitchen I preparing to cook dinner about nine o'clock when taken ill and the doctor was immediately summoned, but she died before he reached her, living only forty minutes. She was nineteen years old and leaves her husband and one child fifteen months old. -Aug 19, 1906 Bryan Morning Eagle Contributor: John Clay Ellisor - [email protected]
