Bio

Alvin William Pfeiffer, 79, of Arapahoe died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. James Moshier officiating. Burial was at Arapahoe Cemetery. Wenburg Funeral Chapel in Arapahoe is in charge of the arrangements. He was born March 1, 1939, on the family farm in Gosper County to Cornelius and Ida (Schutz) Pfeiffer. On March 19, 1961, he married Isabelle Huxoll at Arapahoe. Survivors include his wife; son, Ron of Houston; daughters, Bonnie Pfeiffer of Littleton, Colo., and Tammy Wilkins of Bellevue; and three granddaughters.
