Son of Preston F King and Mary Jane Locke. Husband of Nellie May Loftis, married 22 Maay 1904 in Bentonville, Benton, Arkansas. *************************************************** The Capital Journal, Salem, Oregon, 25 Oct 1962 Newton E, King; McMINNVILLE Funeral for Newton E, King, 80, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the Chapel of Macy and Son. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Mr. King died Monday. He was born May 22, 1882, at Rogers, Ark. He came to Yamhill in 1946 and lived there until recently, When he moved to Aums-ville. Surviving are three sons; Sherman of Aurnsville, James of Stayton; and Herbert of Declo, Idaho; two daughters, Mrs. Ava Forster of Portland and Mrs. Betty Spirgen of Glide. NEWTON KING, The Delaware County Journal, Jay, Oklahoma, 22 Nov 1962 Newton Edward King passed away in Salem Oregon October 22 1962 at the age of 80 years and 5 months. His wife preceded him In death 14 years and 5 months to the day. Surviving are 3 sons and 2 daughters; Sherman of Aumsville Ore, Pressley of Stayton Ore, Herbert of Declo Idaho, Ana Forster Portland, Ore and Betty Spirgon of Glide, Ore.
