Son of Donald and Joyce Shepperd Norton. Married Vickie Elmore 9 Feb 1979 in Kane, IL. U.S. Army Veteran. David E. Norton, 64, passed away at 2:03pm on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton. He was born on February 28, 1954, in Augusta, Georgia, the son of the late Donald and Joyce (Shepperd) Norton. He married the former Vicki Elmore on February 9, 1979, in Kane, Illinois. Survivors include his wife Vicki Jones – Norton of South Roxana, two daughters and sons in law: Sasha and Damion Huff of Wood River, Amanda and Kevin Enos of Palmer, Alaska, three grandchildren: Drew, Zach, Olivia, two sisters: Ria Norton and her husband: Andy of Bunker Hill, Babette Moorleghen of Belleville, Illinois, two brothers and sisters in law: Dennis and Linda Norton of Springfield, Donald and Karen Norton, and many other extended family and friends. David was formerly employed at Klem Trucking as a driver. He was formerly a volunteer fireman for South Roxana Fire Department. He was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Lisa Jo Reedy, Lorraine Marie Picard, and a brother: Loyal Donevan.
