Bio

Lisa Jo (Norton) Reedy, 49, formerly of Bunker Hill, loving wife, sister and friend, met with our loving God after a long illness. Her death occurred at 11:21 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at Alton Memorial Hospital. A daughter of Donald E. Norton Sr. and Joyce Elizabeth (Shepperd) Norton, she was born Sept. 25, 1956, at Scott Air Force Base in O'Fallon, Ill. She married David Reedy on Jan. 10, 1985, in South Roxana. He survives. A graduate of Lewis and Clark Community College, she worked as a nurse for more than 25 years. She was a volunteer at Saline Animal Shelter, member of the Benton Pentecostal Church of God and was a former member of the South Roxana Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to her husband, surviving are three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorraine and Frank Piccard Sr. of New Orleans, Babette and George Moorleghen of Belleville and Ria and AndrewHeinemeier of Bunker Hill; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Vicki Norton of South Roxana, Dennis and Linda Norton of Aledo, Ill., and Donald Norton Jr. of California; 10 nieces, Kim Fulkerson, Karensa Murphy, Amanda Norton, Sasha Huff, Elizabeth Piccard, Jamie Barks, Mindy Murphy, Mikaya Moorleghen, Shannon Osburn and Vicki Piccard; nine nephews, Michael Moorleghen, Evan Norton, Sean Reedy, Michael Meyer, Richard Meyer, Mickia Reedy, Robbie Reedy, Frank Piccard Jr., Louis Piccard; several great-nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Ruth Noble, and her husband, Richard, of Bauxite; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Reedy and his wife, Kathy, of Bauxite, and Robert Reedy of Springdale, Ark.; and beloved friends, Louise and Jim Parker and Marilyn and Cliff Garry.
