Julie Renae (Linzy) Hanna Julie Hanna, 53, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack early Monday morning on June 8, 2015. Julie was born on May 9, 1962 in Rupert, Idaho. She grew up in Rupert and graduated from Minico High School. She continued her education at Idaho State University graduating with a degree in cosmetology. She worked in Sun Valley and Pocatello cutting hair until Multiple Sclerosis robbed her of the career she loved so much. Julie was married to Kim Linzy for 10 years and later divorced. She had no children. She is survived by her mother, Zola Hanna; sister, Roni (Bob) Atkins; brother, Chris Hanna; nephew, Nathan Burch; niece, Kameron (Dustin) Aldous, and a great niece, Ava Aldous. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Hanna and her paternal grandparents. Julie loved camping, hunting and fishing. She also loved Scottish terrier's and raised puppies. She was an excellent baker and loved to make sugar cookies for her friends at Christmas. She was famous for meat balls, meatloaf and enchiladas. Julie was diagnosed with MS in her early 20's. Her life was difficult as she suffered from a lot of pain. She attended Eagle Christian Church and is now with the Lord; free from all pain and suffering. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 in the worship center of Eagle Christian Church, 100 S Short Road, Eagle, ID 83616 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.
