Bio

Mrs. S. Ida Boyd, 75, wife of Ernest L. Boyd of 330 Sixth avenue, Twin Lakes, died this morning. Mrs. Boyd had been in ill health for the past 10 years. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd came to Santa Cruz from Long Beach where Mrs. Boyd had been matron of the California Christian Home for the Aged for seven years. She was an active member of the First Christian church in Santa Cruz. A sister, Jannie D. Funk and brother James E. Donnell of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews survive. Her pastor, Rev. D. B. Rickard, will officiate at services in White's chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery. Published in the Santa Cruz Sentinel on April 20, 1948
