Funeral Here Friday For Mrs. Huhnerkoch Mrs. Victoria R. Huhnerkoch, 88, long time Redwood Falls resident, died Wednesday at Redwood Falls hospital where she had been a patient since breaking her leg in a fall at her home 10 days earlier. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ with Rev. Robert Cash of Bloomington officiating. Mrs. Wayne Rekedal will be organist and Mrs. Jack Thrailkill will sing "No Night There" and"Sunrise." Pallbearers will be Horace Wetmore, Glenn Von Mosch, Frank Peters, Harold Duncan, Guy Manning, Harold Arnett, John Schwerin and Gillette Barnes. Interment will be in Redwood Falls cemetery. Friends may call at Hoepner funeral home after 4 p.m. today and Friday from noon until time of service at the church. There will be no reviewal. Victoria R. Hosek was born September 17, 1880 in Cresco, Iowa, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Benedict Hosek. She married George W. Huhnerkoch in Minneapolis December 31, 1902 and they spent most of their married life in Redwood Falls. She was a member of the ladies aid society of the church and the Woman's Relief corps. Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Huhnerkoch of Redwood Falls; sons Alvin of Park Rapids and Harvey of Nevis; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Phillip Hosek of Verndale, Joseph Hosek of Lake Lillian, George Hosek of Morton; and sisters Mrs. Mary Karnos of Lakeville, Mrs. Bessie Faiman and Mrs. Clara Helmer of Olivia. Her husband died April 30, 1958 and she was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. --Redwood Falls Gazette February 13, 1969
