Bio
Anna M. Navratil, 78, died Sunday, June 23, in Seward. She was born in Czechoslovakia May 14, 1885, and married Charles Navratil May 9, 1905, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Brainard. Mrs. Navratil is survived by her husband, Charles; a son, Raymond, Bee; five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Anderly, of Bee, Mrs. Joseph Vondra, Bee, Mrs. Anton Hazuka, Omaha, Mrs. James Samek, Dwight, and Mrs. Harland (Marie) Collins, Council Bluffs, Iowa; a brother, Frank; a sister, Frances, Hastings; 27 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 25, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church, Bee, with Rev. John Prachar officiating. The burial took place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Samuel Collins, Francis Pavel, David Navratil, Donald Tejral, Anthony Hazuka, and Phillip Odvody. Seward County Independent, Seward, NE, Wed, June 26, 1963
