Bio

Technician 4th Class US Army World War II ---------------------------- Oliver was born in the small, southwest Missouri town of Jasper, in Jasper County. He joined the US Army when he was 18 years old and served during the War years 1945 - 1947. He soon moved to Stockton, California and learned the roofing business from his brother Norman who was a contractor. Oliver Mead began his own Roofing Co and later moved his business to Southern California. Oliver returned to southwest Missouri to retire in Purdy Missouri where he died.
