Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Fleming Hester will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Byrds Chapel Church of God Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Marvin Howard will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 13, from 5 PM until 8 PM and Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Mrs. Hester, 87, passed from this life on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Franklin Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born In Amite County, MS on March 12, 1930 to Mr. Enoch David Fleming and Mrs. Clara Louise Edwards Fleming. She was a lifetime homemaker. She loved her flowers and was very good at caring for them. She loved her family very deeply and dedicated her life to their care. Preceding her in death were her husband, Elden Glen Hester; parents, Enoch David Fleming and Clara Louise Edwards Fleming; sister, Mildred Aaron; brother, Edward Fleming and grandson, William Colby Hester. Survivors are two daughters, Clara Guice (John), Janet Wright; three sons, Glen Hester of Berrytown, MS, David Hester (Sandy) of Meadville, MS, William Hester (Dorothy) of Meadville; sister, Laverne LeBlanc of New Orleans; two brothers, James Fleming of Liberty, MS, Elton Fleming of Lady Of The Lake, FL; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of friends.
