Bio

Margaret Isabella Arnold was born on August 13, 1853 in Tennessee to America & Isabel Arnold. On December 7, 1870, Margaret Isabelle married Calvin Blackburn "Bud" Curlee. They had 4 children, Nathan Blackburn "Jake" Curlee, Mary Matilda Curlee Good, Julie Welker Curlee Pickard and Annie Barbra Curlee Reed. Around 1890, the family moved to Texas and settled near the town of Crandall located in Kaufman County, Texas. Bud, as many back then mainly farmed for a living. In 1917, Bud & Margaret followed their son Nathan and his family to Edna, Texas located in Jackson County, where they continued to farm the land. Margaret Isabel passed away in 1921 and was buried in the Crandall Cemetery. When Bud passed away in 1930, he was buried beside her. Note: Margaret Isabel was my great grandmother.
