Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ Published on August 10, 2016 Elizabeth Ann Henninger, known to family and friends as Betty, 57, passed away peacefully at her home Aug. 7, 2016. Betty was born to the late Frank and Henrietta Matulka June 18, 1959 in David City, Neb. On Aug. 14, 1993 Betty married the love of her life, Thomas Henninger in Columbus, Neb. Betty was a successful real estate agent for over 18 years. She worked for Coldwell Banker in Lake Havasu City, and was a part of the Real Estate Association. Betty loved spending time with her family by going boating as much as possible. She loved taking trips to the casino, wine tasting, and having date night with her husband. She was a member of the Bunco Club and loved to play with her friends. Betty was a fun loving women who always had a smile on her face. Family always came first to her. She also was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Betty is survived by her husband Thomas Henninger of Lake Havasu City, son Dustin (Amanda) Steinbeck of Showlow, daughter Tiffany Taylor of Lake Havasu City, sisters Carolyn Semrad and Henry Nekuda of Linwood, Neb. and three grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Henrietta Matulka. A visitation is at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Thursday, Aug. 11, at 5 p.m. followed by a rosary service at 7 p.m. A funeral service is at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church Friday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
