SADIE DAY 1884-1969 Sadie Marie (Walters) Day was born on 17 Mar 1884 in Bradford, Anderson County, Texas to Joel Saunders Walters and Lucinda Martha (Welborn) Walters. She died on 04 Apr 1969 at Palestine Nursing Home in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas at the age of 85. She retired from teaching school in Anderson and Houston counties. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Eloise and Marie; and her parents. She is survived by her husband, three sons, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
