CARO DAY 1888-1974 Caro Lee Day was born on 04 Aug 1888 in Slocum, Anderson County, Texas to Francis Marion Day and Lee Docia (Wright) Day. He died on 30 Sep 1974 in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas at the age of 86. He married Sadie Marie Walters on 13 Feb 1910 in Anderson County, Texas. He was a Mason and a member of First Christian Church. He retired from teaching for 35 years, serving at schools in Killionville, Salmon, Tennessee Colony, Pleasant Grove, Houston County, and Palestine. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. He is survived by three sons, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one brother, five sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
