1969 The Norfolk Daily News; Norfolk, Nebraska; Wednesday, October 29, 1969, page 24 Mrs. John C. Reigle MADISON -- Funeral services for Mrs. John (Susan) Reigle, 87, were held October 23 in the United Methodist Church at Madison. The Rev. Raymond W. Sandsted officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Dale N. Steward and Mrs. Dick Reigle. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery northwest of Madison. Pallbearers were grandsons, Gerald, Kenneth, Tom, Dick and Jack Reigle, Tom Osborn, Fred and Jim Prauner. Susan Reigle , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Busteed, was born January 29, 1882 at Milford, Ohio. She passed October 20 at a Norfolk hospital. They farmed in the Fairview community until 1944 when they retired and moved to Madison. Mrs. Reigle was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and an honorary member of both the Fairview and Madison WSCS. Survivors include: 4 sons, Lyal W. and Elmer J., both of Madison, Milton of Norfolk and William A. of Hollywood, California; 3 daughters, Mrs. Guy (Lillian) Sherlock of Huntington Park, California, Mrs. Oral (Pearl E.) Osborn and Mrs. Ernest C. (Marjorie) Prauner, both of Battle Creek, Nebraska; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Fannie Miller of Vienna, Virginia. Besides her husband, John, who passed in 1948; in addition, two sons, Glenn A. and Charles O.; 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
