Bio
Mrs. Marlene T. Bartosh, 84, of Corsicana passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Trisun Care Center in Corsicana. She was born on June 1, 1933 in Ludlow, Mississippi to William E. and Lilla Mae Turner. She was a very active in volunteering many hours to Mildred ISD, Boy’s Home of Mildred, the American Legion Auxiliary and to the Angels organization for soldiers. She had served as President of the Eureka Crime Watch. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Cavender and her parents. She is survived by her husband, August (Sonny) (Augie) Bartosh; daughter, Melinda Wood and husband Mike; son, Rudy Johnson and wife Patrice; daughter, Patricia Bell and husband Raymond; son, David Bartosh and wife Lory; son, August (Sonny) Bartosh, Jr. and wife Leticia; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. January 8, 2018 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Bancroft officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jacob Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Walt Wood, Jerry Milroy, Frank Carelli and Gene Hathorn.
