Bio

Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Cox) Pate was born in Comanche County, Texas, on May 10, 1890. She was the youngest child of William Marion Cox and Susan Adeline Savage. She married William Arthur "Dick" Pate in 1908. Together they had eight children- Linda Irene, Donna Mae, Jack E., Wm Arthur "Bill", Mildred, Dixie Carle, & Delbert. Elizabeth died in Bakersfield, California on April 4, 1979. She was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield, California beside her husband, William Arthur "Dick" Pate.
