Bio

William Arthur "Dick" Pate was born on Jan 23, 1886 in Gustine, Comanche County, Texas. His parents were William R. Pate (1860-1934) and Sarah Elizabeth Conner (1840-1928). Dick Pate married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cox in 1908. Together they had eight children: Linda Irene, Donna Mae, Jack E., Wm Arthur "Bill", Mildred, Dixie Carle, & Delbert. Dick died in Bakersfield, California, and was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield, CA.
