Tennessee County Marriages 1790-1950 I M Bennett married Mollie Summerville 16 Sept 1880 in Sumner CO TN ************************ Bennett - Sunday evening, at 7:30 p.m., January 4 1925, at the home of his brother, Tillman Bennett, Carrier Mill, Ill., I.M. Bennett in the 67th year of his age. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Marietta Summerville Bennett; sons, O. R., C. G., G.G. and Joe Bennett; and daughters, Mrs. L.T. Warren, Mrs. Allen Thrailkill, Miss Edith Bennett, all of this city, and Mrs. W.V. Mulloy of Detroit, Mich. Remains will arrive this (Wednesday) morning at 8:05 o'clock and be taken to his home No. 19 Keith Street, where funeral services will take place at 3 o'clock this (Wednesday) afternoon, conducted by Revs. A. R. Wright and Rev. C. M. Zwingle. The following will serve as pallbearers: R. G. Ross, W. C. Staley, W. C. Parks, C. W. Kelley, II., Whitehurst and W. s. Bloodworth. Interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
