Connie, born of goodly parents William Leon and Violet Robbins Kirkham September 5, 1937 at home in Lehi, Utah has now gone to live with them again September 25, 2017. While the fresh white snow blanketed her favorite Mount Timpanogos she left surrounded by her loving husband Glen Lovell Nielsen and children. Her abundant heart had no more to give. Connie was a light of joy and sunshine. She treasured her family, Bruce (Sonja), Sandra (David) Dixon, Julie (Bruce) Rafiner, Bill, Emily (Kent) Oyler. 11 beautiful grandchildren and 2 others they welcomed into their home. Seven great-grandchildren with one arriving any day and one in January. Connie‘s life was full. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in every organization as a 58 year member of the Lehi 6th ward. She especially enjoyed the stake YW and most recently choir and Relief Society chorister. Music filled her life and home. She touched the lives of all who knew her with kind words and a loving heart. She enjoyed theater, dance, art, and was an excellent cook and loved family gatherings and helping the needy. Her life was filled with loving service. She especially enjoyed her fun-loving husband and their 40 years of season tickets at BYU football and basketball. This coming November marks her 54th anniversary as owner of Bridal Center where she enjoyed helping brides with their dresses. A true artist, Connie designed and created beautiful attire and costuming plays. She will be sorely missed by her family, including 7 siblings and their spouses, many nieces and nephews and others in her community. Connie instilled in her children a testimony of forever families.
