Adelheid Knuth Funeral services for Adelheid Knuth, 96, Plainvlew, were held April 25, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church In Plainview with Rev. Keith Pearson officiating. Music was provided by Jan Krause, organist, the congregation singing, J Know My Redeemer Lives and This 7s My Father's World, solos by Paul Knuth, How Great Thou Art, and Sandra Stinson, Amazing Grace. Burial was at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery at Orchard. Pallbearers were Tim Knuth. Dan Faltln, Scott Adams, Matthew Grove, Mark Knuth and Ross Adams. Adelheid Knuth was born April 11. 1896, at Alliance, the daughter of Reinhold and Rosina (Kurtz) Klihne. She attended school at Scribner and married Claus Knuth on December 18, 1918 at her parents home at Orchard. She moved with her parents to Orchard at the age of 12. She farmed with her husband near Royal until 1951. She moved to Neligh and later to Norfolk. The last two years she lived at the Plainview Manor. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Survivors include four sons. Kermit of Los Angeles, CA Lyle of Stover. MO, Edwin of Omaha, and Claus of Royal; three daughters, Helen Adams of Colorado, Rosalie Faitin of Scribner and Alice Grove of North Dakota; three brothers, Ferd Klihne of Orchard, Gus Klihne of Hooper and Fred Klihne of San Francisco, CA one sister, Margaret Austin of San Francisco. CA; 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two children, two brothers, six sisters and one grandchild.
