Mrs. Ernest {Marie} Rabe, 76, funeral will be held Monday at Madison with burial in Hillcrest cemetery at Norfolk. She died Thursday in Madison. "The body will not lie in state." She was born Nov. 22, 1900 at Scribner to Reinhold and Rose Kiihne. At the age of 8 she moved with her parents to Orchard. She was married on Dec. 22, 1920 to Ernest Rabe at Orchard. After they were married they lived at Royal, Bartlett, Ewing and then to Madison in 1946. She was survived by her husband, 1 son Don at Humphrey, 3 daughters: Mrs. Don {Arlene} Montgomery at Madison, Mrs. Robert {Phillis} Allison at Norfolk, Mrs. Eddie {Ann} Ringler at Omaha; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters: Mrs. Claus {Addie} Knuth at Norfolk, Mrs. Henry {Gustie} Johnson at Versailles, Missouri; Mrs. Louis {Emma} Michael at Concord, California; Mrs. Margaret at Concord; 3 brothers: Ferd at Orchard, Gus at Hooper, Fred at Concord.
