Rosie Yeazel, 72, of Fairmount, passed away at 6:42 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at North Logan Healthcare Center, Danville. Rosie was born August 26, 1945 in Danville to Fred and Velma Bradford Woodard. She married Wallace Yeazel on August 10, 1963 at the Fairmount United Methodist Church. He survives. Also surviving are: two sons, Steve (Deb) Yeazel of Naperville and Brian (Beth) Yeazel of Rochester, Illinois; one daughter: Lisa (Allen) Harvey of Danville; one brother: Dean (Sonya) Woodard of Fairmount; four sisters: Gladys (Pete) Elsberg of Westville, Zoe Ann (Darold) Street of Fairmount, Dorothy (Robert) Moreman of Westville and Mary Yeazel of Homer; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Rosie had been a special education commuter driver and worked for a time at the ASCS office and served for over twenty years with the US Postal Service and retired as Postmaster of the Ridge Farm office. Rosie enjoyed playing the piano and organ for 50 years. She loved playing board games with the kids, collecting antiques and crafts. Wally and Rosie wintered in Florida for 10 years.
