Bio

John F. Woodard, 70, of Tolono, passed away at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born March 19, 1943 in Danville to Fred and Velma Bradford Woodard. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren and one brother, Lester. He married Opal Waltermire June 16, 1990, in Catlin. She survives. He is also survived by four sons, Timothy D. (Cyndy) Woodard, Jeff (Angela) Woodard, John M. Woodard and Bob (Jennifer) Woodard; two stepsons, Curt (Ann) Waltermire and Keith (Lori) Waltermire; one brother, Dean (Sonya) Woodard; five sisters, Gladys (Pete) Elsberg, Zoe Ann (Darold) Street, Dorothy (Bob) Moreman, Rosie (Wally) Yeazel and Mary Yeazel; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way.
