Wilma Patricia (Pat) Conway Day passed away on September 17, 2017, in Tyler. She was the daughter of Prentiss Stokes Conway and Alma Honor Harris Conway. Pat is survived by her husband, three children, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and a granddaughter-in-law. She was married to Leslie Elbert Day for 62 years on July 23. Her children are James Patrick Day, Leslie Annette Day and William Thomas Day, and her daughter-in-law Martha Elizabeth Hale Day, wife of James Day. The grandchildren (James' children) and granddaughter-in-law are Michael Patrick Day, James Richard Day, Kathleen Elizabeth Day and Katie Nicole White Day, wife of James Richard Day. Pat was born on October 17, 1934, in the Stockard community in Henderson County. She attended school in Stockard, Crandall, Athens and graduate from Jacksonville High School. Pat graduated from Lon Morris College in Jacksonville and then attended East Texas Baptist University where she met her husband Leslie. They were married on July 23, 1955, living in Louisiana and Texas until 1959, when they moved to Texas. The couple and their children continued to live in Texas until the late '80s, when Pat and Leslie moved to Mississippi and Georgia. In 1999, Leslie retired and the couple returned to Tyler where they have resided until her death. The memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Southern Oaks Baptist Church in Tyler.
