Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Wedensday, January 9, 1952 Funeral of William O. Ashley Funeral service for William O. Ashley was held at 10 am Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1952 in the Hisxon Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Taylor officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Ashley, 47, of 216 Lee Street, Pineville, died at 5:05 pm Sunday Jan. 6, 1952 in New Orleans. He is survived by one brother, Alfred L. Ashley of Pineville, one half brother, J. L. Ashley of Lake Village, Ark., and three sisters, Mrs. John Cupp of Kolin, Mrs. G.S. Davis of Vicksburg, Miss., and Mrs. Ethel Goff of Pine Bluff Ark.
