Bio

MYRTLE R. UTLEY, 79, of Little Rock died Dec. 18, 1996. She was a registered nurse, a Baptist affiliated with St. Luke United Methodist Church and participated at Second Presbyterian Shephard Center. Mrs. Utley was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Francis Edward Utley, her parents, Harvey and Alice Anders Rowland; two brothers, Marion and Frank Rowland; one sister, Bessie Moseley and a niece, Mary Emma Rowland. Her survivors include a daughter, Becky Dugan of Little Rock; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Fran Utley of Franklin, Tenn.; four grandsons, Jimmy Dugan, Mike Dugan, Mick Utley and Slade Utley; a great-grandson, Trevor Nix; brother-in-law, Ed Moseley and a sister-in-law, Nellie Brooks Rowland, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be today at 11 a.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at Oakland Cemetery, Warren, Ark., at 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church.
