Bio

Judge Harvey Lee Rowland, 89, of Warren died Friday. He was a native of Calhoun County and was a retired teacher. He served several terms as Bradley County Tax Assessor. In 1935, he was elected Bradley County Judge serving two terms. Mr Rowland served two terms as Bradley County Clerk. He was a mason and a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Rowland is survived by two sons, Marion Rowland and Frank Rowland, both of Warren: two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Utley and Mrs. W. Edwin Moseley, Jr., both of Houston, TX.
