Bio
Archie Frank Rowland, 79, of Little Rock, formerly of Warren, retired Warren assistant postmaster and Bradley County treasurer, died today at Baptist Medical Center here. Born August 3, 1908 (sic 1909), at Jersey (Bradley County), he was a son of the late Harvey and Alice Anders Rowland. He was a member of the Markham United Methodist Church at Little Rock and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Survivors include his wife, Nellie Brooks Rowland; a daughter, Mary Emma Rowland of Little Rock; and a sister, Myrtle Utley of Little Rock. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Frazer Funeral Home of Warren. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Warren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
