Bio
Raymond Anton Koudela, loving husband and father, 76, of El Campo, went to be with his heavenly Father on August 16, 2017. He was born on November 7, 1940 in El Campo to the late Joseph and Julia Reck Koudela. Raymond graduated from St. Philip Catholic School, El Campo High School and Wharton County Junior College. He served in the U.S. Army and Texas National Guard. Raymond loved farming and ranching. He worked in the fields until he was 75. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerome Koudela and sisters, Edith Labay and Lorena Taylor. Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m. Friday, August 18 at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 19 at St. Philip Catholic Church with Funeral Mass immediately following at 10 a.m. with Rev. Michael Rother officiating.
