Bio

Born at Doniphan and received his education at Doniphan, later moving to Grand Island and graduating from Grand Island High School in 1942. Married Lucille Weil on March 2, 1974 at Cairo. They lived at Grand Island and he was a longtime veterinary assistant at the Grand Island Veterinarian Hospital; also assisting Dr. Richard Wampler and Dr. Robert Leslie. He also was employed by John Vanosdall Garbage Service and did custodial work for Grand Island Mall. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Lucille, a daughter, Carol Kozel of Grand Island; a son, Richard Lorance of Grand Island; step-daugher, Delores (Mrs. Kenneth) Smith of Lincoln. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dale and Cecil and one sister, Alice Johnson.
