Bio

Born to john and Ethyl (Cargill) Murphy. He grew up and was educated in the Greeley, Nebraska area. He married Florence Crawford at Hot Springs, S. D. The couple lived in South Dakota and Nebraska where he was employed by the railroad. Survived by his wife, three sons, Milan, Harold and Danny and one daughter, Alice and four brothers, Earl Murphy, Iven and Alex Graff of Greeley and Charlie Murphy and two sisters, Arlene Scott of Grand Island and Eunice Clements of Spalding. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Merle and Verlin and a sister, Jean.
