Josephine "Jo" Josephine "Jo" Krieg, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 88. Jo was born December 6, 1926 in Buckholts, Texas to Charles and Alice Becker, She had one younger brother and two younger sisters. She graduated from Thorndale High School. On August 10, 1947, she married Roy E. Krieg of Thrall, Texas. They had one daughter and three grandchildren that she adored. Jo loved to cook, bake, and play games with her family. She was always active in church and was a woman of strong faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and all three of her younger siblings, Alice, Charles, Charles, Jr., and Gene Elizabeth Becker, and Peggy Sue Thaler. She is survived by her husband of 67 years; her daughter Kay and husband Tom; three grandchildren, Craig McCarthy and wife Meghan, Sara Schmid and husband Patrick, Jean Pettet and husband Brandon; and five great-grandchildren, Claire McCarthy, James McCarthy, Ethan Schmid, Arianna Schmid and Nathan Pettet. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church, 510 Luther Drive, Georgetown, Texas, 78628 under the direction of Gabriels Funeral Chapel with Pastor Cheryl Lamaak and Pastor Paul Kirsten officiating. A visitation will be held Monday, February 2, 2015, from 6 to 8PM at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North I35, Georgetown, Texas, 78628.
