DAVID CITY - Leander R. "Lee" Yindrick, 96, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006 at david place in David City. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City, with Monsignor Adrian Herbek officiating. Visitation is Thursday from noon-5 p.m. at Kracl Funeral Chapel in David City and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a 7 p.m. rosary service. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery in David City. Lunch will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Memorials may be directed to the Guardian Angel Fund, Masses or St. Mary's Catholic Church. Lee is survived by his wife Gladys; three daughters, Phyllis Byers of Fordland, Mo., Virginia Stratmann of West Point and Betty Betzen of David City; two sisters, Phoebe Rech and Olga Lehr, both of David Cit; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
