Bio

Per death certificate - Eliza Jane Creath died in Milton, Jackson Township, Van Buren County, widow of W H Creath; born 25 February 1834 in Indiana, age 86 years, 1 month, 29 days. Daughter of Barlett Powell and "Mackineer". Informant James Russell (son-in-law). Died 24 April 1920, buried at Cantril, Iowa on 26 April 1920. Burlington newspapers noted on 25 April 1920 that Eliza was very ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Russell, and that C B Creath was called from Cantril to Milton due to the illness of his mother. No further mention found there.
