Smith was a widow, 71 years old, residing at 819 West 12th Street in Webb City, MO. She passed away at her home from what was attributed to senile cardiac insufficiency. Her parents were noted to be Bartlett Powell and Margaret McNeer, both b. in Virginia. She was buried in Park Cemetery under the direction of Knell Undertaking Company.
