Smith, Avery DeLano "Smitty", 80, of Ruskin, died Sunday (December 21, 1997) at home. Born in Salem, Kentucky, he moved to the Tampa area from Russell Springs, Kentucky, in 1956. He owned Smith TV Repair, Ruskin. Survivors include his wife, Constance; a son, Dwight D., Ruskin; two daughters, Elsie Lynn Roy, Louisville, Kentucky, and Pam Turner, Riverview; a brother, Doris, Russell Springs; four sisters, Alpha Hammond, Russell Springs, Mildred Wilson, Columbia, Kentucky, Oprah Roy, Eli, Kentucky, and Eleanor Roy, Tucson, Arizona; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
