Bio

The funeral for Eileen Fevig, 66, of Moorhead, Minn. was held July 14 at the Korsmo Funeral Chapel in Moorhead. She died July 9, 2003 at her home. Eileen Beverly Buchta was born June 25, 1937 in Maddock, ND to Raymond and Selma Solheim Buchta. She grew up in Maddock and attended grade school in Harlow, ND and high school in Leeds and Maddock. She married Reinhold Sauter in Fillmore, ND in 1955. They moved to Moorhead, where she worked for 25 years as an x-ray technician at St. Ansgar's Hospital. She then worked at St. John's Hospital and later at Eventide Lutheran Home until February of 2003. On July 1, 1983 she married Verne Fevig in Webster, SD. He died Dec. 29, 1983. Survivors include a son, Robert Sauter of Moorhead, Minn,; twin granddaughters; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Donnie Buchta and Duane and Fern Buchta of Leeds, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and her husband.
