Mrs. Bessie Jane King Clark Miller Bessie Jane was a daughter of John Venson King (1852 Tennessee - ca. 1921 Texas) and Talitha Johnson Hawkins King (1863 Arkansas-1924 Texas). Bessie and her brother William Venson King (1901-1965) were born in the union of their parents but they had eight (8) half siblings from their father's first marriage and at least four (4) half siblings from their mother's first marriage. Bessie Jane King married Mr. Earnest Earl Clark (1898-1968) and three children were born in this union: Lucile Ether Clark Simms (1921-1989); Virginia E. Clark Hamilton (1923-), and Earnest Earl Clark (1927-1997). Earnest Earl Clark was a son of Yale O. Clark (1866-1933) and Frances "Fannie" Hawkins (1876-1937), Bessie's step-sister. Talitha Johnson Hawkins King was Fannie's step-mother. Bessie Jane married Mr. Arthur Miller. Mrs. Bessie Jane Miller was living at 733 Oak Street in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas at the time of her death. She was "dead on arrival" at Mesquite Memorial Hospital.
