Married Louis Nelson Jan 30, 1894 in Wahoo Obituary publish in Valparaiso Herald on Mar 9, 1956 Minnie Fiedler was born July 27, 1872 at Hennesdorf, Bohemia. She was the daughter of Benedict and Mary Fiedler. She came to this country at the age of 4 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Louis Nelson January 30, 1894 at Wahoo, Nebraska. She leaves to mourn her nine children, six sons, Lexie of Greenwood, Alvin of Omaha, Harry of Creston, Iowa, Herman of Valparaiso, William of Lincoln, and Edward of Ashland; three daughters: Mrs. Nannie Nelson of Raymond, Mrs. Bessie Spath of Lincoln, and Mrs. Edna Carlson of Lincoln with whom she had made her home for the past nine years. Her husband and son, Lloyd, preceded her in death. Two sisters survive, Mrs. Eleanora Brezina of St. Paul, Nebr. and Mrs. Christina Hiltcher of Ceresco; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. They moved from near Weston to the farm known as the George Masek farm south of Valparaiso in 1896 and had lived near and in Valparaiso for many years. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 28, 1956 from the Valparaiso Methodist Church with Rev. Frank Court of Lincoln officiating. Burial was in the Valparaiso Cemetery.
