Ruby Faye Claytor March 29, 1931 - April 12, 2017 Ruby Claytor, "Maw Maw", 86, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on April 12, 2017. Ruby was born on March 29, 1931 in Aubrey, Texas the daughter of Herschel Gregory and Willie Bostick Gregory. She is survived by two daughters Charlotte Sallee and husband Jerry of Flower Mound, and Marsha Harris and husband Scott of Sanger; Her best friend and companion of 25 years Bobby Warren; two brothers James Gregory and wife Glenda and Lawrence Gregory and wife Bessie; two sisters Janice Cameron and husband Ray and Norma Foster; 6 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Billy W. Claytor. She was a talented artist, seamstress, and shopaholic as well as loved going to the casino. She could also catch more fish than anyone around. A visitation will take place at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home 705 N. Locust, on Friday April 14, 2017 from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 10:00a.m. at the Gateway United Baptist Church in Denton. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery, Denton, TX.
