Bio
Angelina Petru Kapusta, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on October 17, 1929 in Corpus Christi, TX to Edward Petru and Angelina Motal. She grew up in Corpus Christi and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in May, 1947. After attending Incarnate Word College in San Antonio and Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Angelina married John Anthony Kapusta on January 16, 1950. They were married for 57 years. She played the organ at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for many years and was a member of the Altar Society. Angelina was an accomplished seamstress, avid gardener and bird enthusiast. She was employed at Retail Credit Co., Ross Langham Funeral Home and Van Dusen Air for many years and was a longtime member of the Pilot Club. In recent years, she was a volunteer at Spohn Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, sisters, Edith Krenek, Cecilia Holland, brothers, Godfrey, Louis, Joe and Edward Petru. A memorial mass will be held Friday April 21, 2017, 2pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church and inurnment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. Published by Seaside Funeral Home.
