Charles Andrew Jensen Charles Andrew Jensen, 79, of Provo, died Saturday, July 26, 1980 at Utah Valley Hospital of heart failure. He was born June 24, 1901, in Provo, to Charles Andrew and Mary Kathryn Jensen. He married Priscilla Allen Sept. 12, 1922 in Provo. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Dec. 12, 1978. He attended school until his father died. At the age of 13, he went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad to support his family. After his marriage, he remained in Provo and worked for the railroad. He retired several years ago. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a ward clerk in the Provo Sixth Ward. He was a member of the Railroad Old Timers. His survivors are one son and one daughter, Charles Allen Jensen, Altadena, Calif., Mrs. Elaine Jensen Liddiard, Provo; seven grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters, Thomas Jensen, Mrs. Erma Robertson, Mrs. Ida Madsen, Mrs. Elvera Bailey, all of Provo; Anna Gray and Robert Jensen, both of American Fork. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel where friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services.
